Yr2:Animation- Weight, Lift and Toss... aka my first flash animation

I've decided to make like the industry and go digital. while i miss my pencil and paper, i am definitely getting used to my infinite number of undos. 

Here's the weight, lift and toss animation. We had to animate the key frames and character we created for character design class... so here is RJ, back in action, in full flash technicolor.

Yr2:Life Drawing- Bones, bones and more bones... and some muscles

We did studies of cat and dog skeletons in class and learned about the skeletal system and musculature for animals which was pretty fun. even though they're not actually so anatomically different from humans, they're very different to draw... had a lot of fun with this, and learned lots.

Yr2:Storyboarding- Beats and Boards

Our assignment was to create a story based on the poems  "The Good Little Girl" and "A Mistake", and then take one (I chose the Good Little Girl) and make it into a complete boarded story.

Had so much fun with this assignment.... here's where it landed. 

The Beats:

"There was a little girl who had a little curl

Right in the middle of her forehead.

When she was good, she was very, very good;

but when she was bad.... she was horrid"

"He said he needed pest control, and so I brought him this.

It escaped, so I was blamed for the resulting mess.

We got it back, it lives here now, one of our special guests.

But there is still one problem: it doesnt scare the pests!"
